Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a Security Operations Coordinator/Program Coordinator III for DCAMM to lead security and emergency preparedness efforts across managed facilities. You will supervise contracted providers, review invoices, and ensure adherence to security standards and post orders while coordinating with local and federal partners.

The role reports to the Deputy Chief of Security and Emergency Preparedness and requires strong leadership, reporting, and incident management

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of security management including planning, communication, organizational development.
• Ability to understand, explain, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures governing unit activities.
• Ability to coordinate the efforts of others to accomplish work objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Security & Emergency Preparedness Unit at DCAMM managed properties.
• Collaborate with facility managers to ensure security contractors meet building needs and communicate changes.
• Inspect properties to identify security issues and safety hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure security contractor has necessary equipment and that reports are completed and shared.
