Polk County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a Program Manager for the Emergency Management Division. The role leads the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and manages readiness, planning, training, and exercises across multiple agencies in Polk County.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in emergency management or related field, at least five years of emergency management experience, and FEMA ICS training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in emergency management, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible full-time employment in Emergency Management including supervision.
• Completion of FEMA ICS100, ICS200, ICS300, ICS400, IS700 and IS800 training courses.

Responsabilités

• Manage planning, directing and operations of the Polk County Emergency Management Program.
• Oversee staff involved in planning, training and exercises for emergency readiness.
• Direct budgets, grant deliverables, reporting and compliance for State/Federal grants.
