A skilled geospatial and remote sensing analyst can turn that data into mission critical information. As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll work with a team of technical and mission experts to extract meaning and context from Navy operational data related to emergency response and force protection. Using resources like ArcGIS, SQL, visual Basic, and Python, you’ll find the patterns and connections to answer the Navy's needs and toughest challenges.

On our team, you’ll design, analyze, develop, create, and map geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build maps, datasets, and reports to ensure Navy emergency management and response stakeholders have the timely information they need.

You Have:

3+ years of experience with Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructures, and Environment (SDSFIE), and Maintenance and Analysis (M&A) environments

3+ years of experience with writing SQL queries, Visual Basic, and Python scripts to execute ad hoc and planned map and data analysis requests

Knowledge of emergency management and incident response practices

Ability to work both independently and in a team setting, and communicate effectively and concisely with Navy clients, including leadership

Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science

Nice If You Have:

Experience with DoD or Navy policies and installation operations

Master's degree in Geographic Information Science or a related field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
