Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related field.
Master’s degree in related field preferred.
Certification: IC–300/400 (required); CEM, CBCP or equivalent, preferred
Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travel
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience, healthcare or multi-facility setting preferred
Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.

Job Purpose

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related field

Licenses and/or Certifications

Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travel

Work Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-facility setting.
Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.
Preferred training: HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework.
