Qualifications

Certification: ICS 100-800, 300/400 required; CEM/CBCP preferred.
Texas driver’s license and reliable transport for inter-campus travel.
3–5 years in progressive emergency management or business continuity, healthcare setting preferred.
Experience leading multi-site regional emergency preparedness programs.
HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework preferred.

Job Purpose

This position provides enterprise-level leadership in preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities while ensuring continuous facility readiness and system-wide compliance with CMS, TJC, and OSHA standards.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related field
Master’s degree in related field, preferred

Licenses and/or Certifications:

Certification: IC S 100-800, 300/400 (required); CEM, CBCP or equivalent, preferred
Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travel

Work Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-facility setting.
Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.
Preferred training: HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework.
