Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced leader to direct enterprise-level preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities across its network. You will ensure facility readiness and system-wide compliance with CMS, TJC, and OSHA standards, while guiding multi-site programs and inter-campus coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of progressive emergency management experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and relevant certifications; a master’s degree

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.
  • Certification: ICS 100-800 required; CEM/CBCP or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travel.
  • Preferred training: HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework.
