Job summary

You will serve as the on-call contact for disruptions and collaborate with departments to assess impacts and recovery priorities.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of related experience, a BA/BS, and strong project management, communication, and detail orientation.

** Business Continuity Analyst**

** Position Overview**

The Business Continuity Analyst will play a pivotal role in strengthening organizational resilience by supporting initiatives that safeguard critical systems, maintain operational continuity, and enable rapid recovery in response to threats, business disruptions, and application outages. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, technical fluency, and business continuity expertise to enhance organizational response and recovery capabilities.

** Key Responsibilities**

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, and Incident Response Plans, including hazard-specific playbooks. Assess plans following business disruptions and exercises, identify gaps, and coordinate corrective actions. (20%)
2. Serve as the primary on-call contact on a rotating basis for business disruptions, ensuring rapid response and coordination. Partner with departments to assess business impacts using Business Impact Analyses, implement continuity strategies, maintain operations, and prioritize recovery of critical business processes. (20%)
3. Design, facilitate, and evaluate exercises that test Business Continuity Plans and Incident Response Plans. Support departmental testing of critical business processes during Disaster Recovery Exercises. (20%)
4. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in contingency planning by leveraging data and stakeholder feedback. Support the effective use and ongoing development of Business Continuity and Incident Management platforms. (20%)
5. Apply project management skills to execute new initiatives, including defining project scope, managing timelines, allocating resources, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are completed. (10%)
6. Prepare leadership reports covering Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and Physical Security programs, including data trends, project progress, risks, and performance metrics. (10%)
7. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

** Education Requirements**

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).

** Experience Requirements**
