MoDOT in Williamsburg is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to support snow removal operations at the Williamsburg Maintenance Facility. Work hours vary with weather events, and an emergency wage adjustment of $3 per hour applies during winter/emergency activities.

Seasonal wage rates are $20.00, $21.11, and $22.37 per hour across the 1st–4th seasons. Responsibilities include operating plow trucks, spreading ice control materials, and basic vehicle/grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsabilités

EMERGENCY WAGE RATES:

1st Season: $20.00 hourly

2nd and 3rd Season: $21.11 hourly

4th Season or more: $22.37 hourly

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (either Excepted Interstate [EI] or Non-Excepted Interstate [NI]).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Special Working Conditions:

• Job may require overtime and nighttime work.
• Job requires outdoor work that involves exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment, including risk of physical injury from carrying out duties in heavy traffic areas, on or near heavy equipment or machinery, and with hazardous chemicals or materials.
