Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) seeks an emergency maintenance equipment operator to perform snow removal duties at various locations in Lafayette and Ray Counties, including Richmond, Odessa, and Concordia. Seasonal pay starts at $26.00 per hour for the 1st season, rising to $27.11 for the 2nd/3rd seasons and $28.37 for the 4th season.

Work is under direct supervision and may involve overtime and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and a drug screen.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Special Working Conditions:

• Job may require overtime and night time work.
• Job requires outdoor work that involves exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment, including risk of physical injury from carrying out duties in heavy traffic areas, on or near heavy equipment or machinery, and with hazardous chemicals or materials
