VCA Animal Hospitals Southeast is seeking an Emergency Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This full-time position supports a busy emergency service with a focus on teamwork and exceptional client/patient care.

Ideal candidates hold CVT/RVT/LVT credentials and have hands-on experience in emergency or critical care settings, performing exams, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, and more to ensure top-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Credentials CVT, RVT or LVT preferred.
• Experience in emergency veterinary settings desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist in surgical prep and procedures.
• Provide dentistry services and radiology support.
• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results.
• Collect venipuncture samples and place catheters.
• Administer pharmacy meds and manage meds.
• Support patient recovery and post-op care.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
