Qualifications

• Texas licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with specialty certification.
• Master’s degree as NP or PA required; experience in surgical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage emergency general surgery patients in inpatient settings.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostics.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans.

Skills

Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse

Current APRN-NP certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified

Proficient in medical and surgical instruments

Education

Master’s in Nursing or equivalent
