Northfield Veterinary Center in Northfield, New Jersey seeks an Emergency/General Practice Veterinarian to join our team on a full-time basis. Base salary $180K+ with production, commensurate with experience.

Three 12-hour shifts per week provide a balanced schedule in a state-of-the-art Ethos hospital network offering emergency, urgent care, dentistry, cardiology, and surgery. Join a collaborative, mentoring environment in South Jersey.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Rotating internship or ER experience preferred.
• Ability to manage emergencies and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of general practice and emergency care for wellness, sick, urgent, and critical patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent/emergent cases.
• Deliver comprehensive emergency care, triage, and manage hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams for compassionate care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through teamwork and learning.
