Job summary

AmeriPro EMS is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support care and safe medical transport in both emergency environments. The role emphasizes patient assessment, direct BLS treatment, operational readiness, and teamwork in support of Paramedics and public safety partners.

Qualifications

EMT experience and current certification are required or preferred.
Strong teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
Ability to operate in fast-paced emergency environments and coordinate with Paramedics.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vital signs).
Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment on ALS calls.
Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to receiving facility.
