Job summary

Ascension is seeking an EMS Dispatch professional at Via Christi Hospital, St. Francis in Wichita, KS. This PRN position covers 12-hour shifts in Ground Transport. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, route appropriately, and dispatch units including air medical as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Note: Licensure can substitute education/experience where applicable.
• Prior EMS/911 dispatch experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for medical assistance.
• Route calls accurately and promptly; dispatch emergency units.
• Coordinate air medical flights and maintain call documentation.
