Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Clinical Assistant, Medical Assistant or EMT program preferred.
• Preferred: Nursing students who completed Fundamentals of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Measures and documents intake, output, vital signs and weights.
• Performs safety checks on high-risk patients and mobility support.
• Transcribes and enters physician orders accurately; communicates with providers.
• Assists RN/MD with procedures and equipment setup in sterile fields.
• Transports patients, lab specimens, and equipment; stocks trauma room.
