Job summary

Lexington Health seeks an ED Technician to perform patient care and related services in the Emergency Department, primarily on the PM shift (1845-0715). The role includes order entry support, supply stocking, and maintaining patient rooms, serving as a liaison among staff, patients and visitors.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of acute care patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year of patient care experience in an acute care setting.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: Basic Life Support and Crisis Prevention Institute Training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and related services in ED.
• Acts as liaison between nursing, physicians, hospital personnel, patients and visitors.
• Assists with order entry, supply stocking and maintaining patient rooms.
• Assists with various ED procedures and patient transport.
• Maintains patient safety and complies with policy.
