Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-time Emergency Department Assistant for the Berwyn area. This role supports nurses and physicians with patient care during 12-hour day shifts, reporting to the Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse.

Eligible candidates will have CNA or EMT certification preferred, CPR, ACLS and PALS timing, and a high school diploma. Prior ED experience and computer data-entry skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or EMT certification preferred.
• One year of ED experience preferred.
• CPR certification at hire.
• ACLS certification at hire or within six months.
• PALS within six months to one year of hire.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience with data entry on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform basic and complex patient care procedures as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families and hospital staff.
