Job summary

Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (PRN). The role requires 48 hours each payroll period, including two weekend 12-hour shifts and one summer and one winter holiday.

You will deliver total patient care before, during, and after treatment, triage, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. RN licensed in NH (or a valid compact state) with an Associate Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start
• PALS within 30 days of start
• CPI within 30 days of start
• TNCC preferred
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start
• RN licensure in NH or compact state

Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene in nursing care for patients in the ED
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
• Document accurately using computer charting and orders
• Triage and prioritize care for multiple patients
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and education
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
