Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Part Time Night Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Shift: Nights, 7:00pm - 7:30am, 2-12-hour shifts. Pay transparency indicates hourly wages from $35.35 to $53.58 with a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ECRN or MICN certificate required within 12 months of hire and maintained current.
• EDAP certified facilities: Completion of required annual education.
• NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.
• TNCC required within 12 months of hire and maintain. Non-trauma facilities, TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and ensure EMTALA compliance and patient privacy.
