Job summary

Texas Health Frisco is seeking an RN II for the Emergency Department to join a patient-centered team. The role requires a Nursing Diploma or higher, RN licensure, and BCLS with additional certifications as outlined.

It offers a fast-paced environment with self-scheduling and opportunities for growth. Full-time night shifts (7P-7A) across rotating weekends/holidays are included, with potential for ED residency or prior ED experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or degree in nursing is required or preferred as listed.
• 1 year of nursing experience required or completion of an RN residency program.
• 2 years of RN experience in an ED acute care setting strongly preferred; ED residency is a plus.
• RN – Registered Nurse on hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days and CPI, PALS, TNCC, NRP as applicable within specified periods.
• Strong confidentiality, interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
