Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in the Westchester Emergency Center. The ER RN will lead care planning, coordinate with an interprofessional team, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for diverse patient needs.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or BSN, an active RN license, at least 1 year of ER/CCU experience, and relevant life-support certifications. Location is on-site with competitive benefits and sign-on potential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience.
• Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Evaluate, update and revise the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
