Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking an Emergency Department RN for Kaiser Permanente in Hillsboro, OR. Offer includes pay between $53 and $79 per hour, full-time night shifts, and a fast-paced environment dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires ADN, current Oregon RN license, and prior experience in emergency or acute care settings. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, coordinate care and discharge, and document in the EMR with a multidisciplinary team.

About This Role

The Emergency Department RN provides critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. What You'll Do

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests and reassess patients throughout hospitalization.
• Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
• Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform all necessary procedures correctly.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
