Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday requirements; cross-training to other departments may occur. Reports to the Director of Emergency Services. Sign-on bonus eligible.

Required Ohio RN license and BLS; BSN preferred. ACLS/PALS preferred. 3–5 years ER experience preferred. Hazmat training and rhythm interpretation training within six months may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Ohio
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• 3–5 years of ER experience

Responsibilities

Emergency Dept - Registered Nurse

Salary Range: $32.55 To $47.60 Hourly

Position:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This position is working 36 hours per week and required to work every third weekend and holiday requirements. The applicant could be cross-trained to other departments within the facility. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services. *Eligible for Sign On Bonus*

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience

Skill and Ability:

• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
• PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
• Hazmat training required
• Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
