Mayo Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care under a registered nurse's supervision. The role involves performing delegated tasks within legal scope for unlicensed personnel and contributing to a patient-centered care team.

Ideal candidates will have 18+ years of age, possess a high school diploma or nursing assistant training, and maintain BLS certification.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Carries out delegated skills within legal scope for unlicensed nursing personnel.
