Job summary

The position is casual with no set shifts, requiring availability for at least 1 shift per week and 1 weekend day per month; up to 40 hours per week may be possible depending on staffing.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to explain copayments and financial obligations to patients.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients upon arrival and assist with registration.
• Educate patients on copayments and financial obligations.
• Collect payments when applicable and connect to financial advocacy resources.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain a culture of service excellence and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with clinical partners to ensure timely data integrity.
