Lehigh Valley Health Network, a nationally recognized health system, is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. The role supports licensed clinicians, collaborates with the care team, and assists with direct and indirect patient care, safety, and equipment readiness.

Day shift with weekend rotation, holidays as needed. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, proper documentation, and effective communication with patients and families.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to perform delegated tasks within the role's scope.
• Understanding of safety risks in a healthcare environment.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision.
• Promotes a safe patient care environment and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Conducts patient rounds and responds promptly to call lights or pages.
