Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; enrollment acceptable.
• CNA license or completion of an unlicensed personnel training program required.
• Experience or documented training as EMT, MA, or surgical technician.
• Minimum 18 months in a relevant patient care role; ability to work with limited supervision.

Aufgaben

• Prepares for admission, transfers and discharges; secures IV pumps and updates patient boards.
• Maintains safe, clean environment; cleans equipment and follows infection control procedures.
• Records daily patient data: vital signs, intake/output, and labels specimens; transports as needed.
• Responds to call lights promptly; communicates with nurses and coordinators and maintains confidentiality.
• Uses computer systems to enter orders and charges; prioritizes tasks and manages time effectively.
• Assists in plan of care under nurse guidance, supports patient safety goals.
