Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent working knowledge.
• Current Paramedic certification/license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS required for ED or pediatric populations.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate acuity level of patients and match care needs to resources.
• Provide basic patient care: positioning, transport, phlebotomy, ECGs, spinal precautions.
• Cardiovascular monitoring within scope of training.
• Airway management: oxygen, suctioning, ventilation, ETCO2, pulse-ox.
