Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents per hospital policies.
• Gathers information and vital signs; reports to RN/Provider.
• Attaches patient to cardiac monitor and may perform 12 lead ECG.
• Assists with wound management, IVs, and patient transport as needed.
• Aids ED staff in keeping patients and families informed and safe.
• Performs I&O catheterization and assists with ambulation and dismissal.
