The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or GED, EMT certification, and 1 year of ED or EMT experience, with strong English skills and basic computer abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of an EMT certification exam is required.
• 1 year of recent ED or EMT experience, or two years of emergency responder experience in lieu of EMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the care team with delegated nursing assistant functions.
• Communicate with the health care team to meet patient goals and ensure quality care.
• Provide support across the life span, including neonates to older adults, per scope of practice.
