Boston Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team in delivering patient care. Under RN supervision, you will assist with admissions, rounds, hygiene, nutrition, and vital signs, while maintaining a safe environment.
This role requires high school diploma and CNA consideration; phlebotomy skills are a plus. You will work in a fast-paced hospital setting, documenting data in the EMR and assisting with transfers and discharges.
Per Diem, As Needed, Non-Benefit Eligible Primary Summary: Performs all patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and functions in the role of assistant to the nursing staff. This includes greeting ambulances, taking and recording vital signs, performing EKGs, assisting with procedures, providing hygiene and nutrition, feeding patients as needed, making rounds on a group of assigned patients, stocking supplies, transfer of patients to Med/Surg units, and assisting with the cleaning of patient care equipment.
Range: $18.38- $27.30 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
