RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an ED Technician to join RWJ Hamilton Hospital's Emergency Department. The role involves direct patient care, daily living activities support, phlebotomy and EKGs, and close collaboration with nursing staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification. CNA experience is preferred. This is a day shift, part-time position at 24 hours per week, offering an hourly pay range of $21.04 to $26.19.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilités

• Direct patient caregiver who assists with activities of daily living and provides nursing care including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Provide patient care based on age-appropriate criteria and safety standards.
• Contribute to safe patient outcomes through sound judgment and timely actions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding care status.
• Participate in coordinating the plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
