Baptist Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant II (Emergency Department Technician) in Lexington, KY for a part-time night shift (11p-11a). You will work under the ED RN, ensuring patient care, specimen handling, and department flow.

Must have KY Nurse Aide Certification and BLS (or obtain within 30 days). The role involves data entry, basic computer use, and potential phlebotomy duties; prior lab or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days if not yet certified.
• Previous lab or customer service experience preferred.
• Data entry and computer experience; phlebotomy/POC testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED team under RN supervision.
• Collect, process, transport and analyze specimens.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operation.
