The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (fixed term) to join the A&E team. You will assist nursing and medical staff with clinical investigations and patient care in all acute areas of the department.

You will perform routine observations, venepuncture, cannulation, and wound care while ensuring clear communication with patients to ease anxiety and overcome language barriers. The role reports to the Shift Leader.

Qualifikationen

• Role requires assisting nursing/medical staff in A&E.
• Ability to gain patient consent and support health promotion.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.

Aufgaben

• Carry out routine observations and record PAR scores.
• Perform urinalysis and collect samples with consent.
• Carry out cannulation and venepuncture under ANTT.
• Apply wound care and splints as directed.
• Promote high-quality compassionate care in ED.
