Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS required.
• Licensed EMT or CNA required.
• Associate degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assists RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
• Maintains a safe environment.
• Collects lab specimens.
• Monitors intake and output.
• Documents in the electronic medical record.
• Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
