Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital seeks an Emergency Department Tech to support patient care under licensed team supervision. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment to improve department operations and deliver care aligned with relationship-based care principles.

Preferred candidates include those with EMT or CNA credentials, minimal EKG setup knowledge, and basic Windows/mouse skills. Night shifts with a $2.25 shift differential are offered.

Required Experience

• Minimal EKG knowledgeable to set-up and run 12-lead EKG (hospital to train)

Preferred

• California state licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nurse Attendant (CNA)
• Acute general hospital experience either as an ED Tech, CNA or nursing student.
• Basic windows and mouse skills.
