Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for night shift (7pm-7:30am) on a full-time basis. The role supports nurses, monitors vital signs, and assists with activities of daily living in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include documentation under supervision, EKGs, glucose testing, drug screening procedures, and maintaining strict infection control practices to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or completion of 1st semester of RN program or EMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Applies cardiac monitor per policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Documents and reports care delivered to patients under RN supervision.
• Maintains infection control standards and competency in related tasks.
• Provides direct age-appropriate care and assists with activities of daily living.
• Assists with EKGs, finger-stick blood sugars, bladder scans, POC testing and setup/cleaning of procedures.
