• Verifies telemetry alarm settings each shift and adjusts as directed.
• Performs clerical duties related to patient intake, discharge and transfer.
• Answers telephone, call lights and EMS radio; relays messages.
• Provides basic nursing tasks such as positioning and assisting with mobility.
• Reports patient pain to supervising RN.
• Transfers patient information via fax, scan and file.
• Updates status board as patient changes occur.
• Promotes patient safety and reduces care errors.
• Maintains professional relationships within and across departments.
• Attends in-services and completes online learning modules.
• Treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
• Demonstrates flexibility and composure under stress.
