Job summary

White Rock Medical Center is a community-based hospital serving Dallas and surrounding areas, offering emergency medicine, cardiology and surgical care. The ED Tech works closely with physicians and nurses to ensure patients receive timely treatment.

This mid-shift role runs from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., with duties including monitoring vital signs, assisting during procedures, documenting care in EMR, and helping with patient hygiene and room preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA or EMS certification, or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient vital signs and reports changes to RN or Shift Manager.
• Assists doctors and nurses during procedures and wound care.
• Provides hygiene care and documents in EMR.
• Responds to call lights promptly and supports patient needs.
• Prepares patient rooms with oxygen and suction setups.
