Job summary

White Rock Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a compassionate ER RN to coordinate patient-centered care in a fast-paced department. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires strong communication, critical thinking and the ability to educate patients and families; Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ED experience are preferred; BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program and licensed in Texas.
• 1–2 years ED experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS; PALS or ENPC within 6 months.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects symptoms, history and coordinates with the care team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Organizes and plans ED care, assesses treatment rationale, and administers medications.
• Attends monthly and annual trainings; maintains documentation in EMR.
• Delivers clear, concise communication with patients and staff using SBAR and AIDET.
• Provides discharge instructions and coordinates follow-up care.
• May float to other areas as assigned.
