Job summary

White Rock Medical Center, a 218-bed hospital serving Dallas and surrounding areas, seeks a compassionate RN for the Emergency Department. You will coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and work collaboratively with the health care team to maintain high nursing standards.

Requirements include Texas RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ED experience; BSN preferred. The role may involve float to other areas and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by Texas; BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire; TNCC preferred.
• 1–2 years of ED experience preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in the ED; plan, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Administer medications per Texas Board of Nursing and policy.
• Stabilize patients with staff, EMS and family in urgent situations.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient/family education.
• Attend monthly and annual trainings; maintain documentation in EMR.
