Job summary

LCMC Health's East Jefferson General Hospital in Louisiana seeks an Emergency Department Tech to be on the front line of care, delivering compassionate support, data collection, and patient‑centered assistance in a fast‑paced environment.

You'll assist with vital signs, hygiene, safety, rounding, and continuous learning, embracing teamwork and a dedication to high‑quality, one‑on‑one care for every patient you serve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical care experience; CNA or PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collection of data used for assessment of patients' conditions, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, I&O.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe environment for everyone.
• Maintain a clean environment in patient care area.
• Complete patient rounding per assignments and schedule to drive patient satisfaction and safety.
• Enhance knowledge and seek opportunities for career development.
• Embrace teamwork and direction in performance of duties.
