BMCHS in Brockton is seeking a Paramedic Assistant/Nurse Aide to support Registered Nurses across patient care activities. You will assist with mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and documentation in the EMR, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Expect collaborative work with multiple departments and adherence to infection control policies. The role requires EMT-P Paramedic certification, CPR and ACLS, and 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma and EMT-Paramedic certification.
• CPR, ACLS, OEMS Paramedic certifications required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience; 1 year clerical experience in the medical field.

Aufgaben

• Performs patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse; acts as assistant to nursing staff.
• Maintains safe patient environment; assists with mobility, bed transfers, ADLs, intake and output, and data collection.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges; prepares units and accompanies patients as directed.
• Documents vital signs and IV insertions in EMR; follows infection control policies and patient safety goals.
