Job summary

TidalHealth is seeking an ED Tech to support patient care in the Emergency Department at Berlin, MD. Under the direction of the Nurse, the ED Tech performs a variety of functions that assist with patient care, data collection, and documentation.

Responsibilities include applying monitoring devices, communicating patient data to the nurse, stocking rooms with supplies, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA licensure required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Evidence of: effective communication, self-motivation, problem solving, accountability, flexibility, and client-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of functions that support patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with general patient care and data collection.
• Document patient information and monitor data.
• Apply monitoring devices and communicate patient data to the nurse.
• Stock equipment and supplies in patient rooms.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current concepts and provide quality service to patients and families.

Under the specific direction of the Nurse, the ED Techperforms a variety of functions that support patient care within the Emergency Department. The ED Techassists with general patient care, data collection, documentation, application of monitoring devices, communicates patient data to nurse, stocks necessary equipment and supplies in patient rooms. The employee will demonstrate knowledge in the current concepts of his/her field and is responsible for providing quality service to patients and families.

• Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant licensure is required.
• Basic computer knowledge
