Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an ED Supply Specialist to manage acquisition, storage and distribution of supplies in the Emergency Department. You will partner with ED clinicians and materials management to ensure stock levels meet patient care needs and budget targets are met.

In this role you will monitor inventory, coordinate with outside vendors, maintain regulatory compliance and support cost-containment initiatives while keeping patient safety at the center of every action.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Good analytical and numeric skills for inventory and budget.
• Solid computer skills and aptitude with hospital systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with clinical staff.

Responsabilités

• Maintain inventory control for materials in the Emergency Department.
• Order supplies, minor equipment, office supplies, and related forms.
• Receive daily supplies and stock into usable inventory.
• Collaborate with ED physicians to maintain stock of preferred supplies.
• Perform daily inventory of items not stocked by SPD and support management.
• Ensure quality control on ED equipment (Dopplers, lamps, EKG, Vital Sign machines).
• Coordinate repairs of minor equipment and parts for monitors and machines.
• Provide education on changes in supplies and equipment to staff.
• Process maintenance, bio-med, telecom and IS work orders in a timely manner.
• Serve as primary contact for outside vendors and obtain price quotes.
