Job summary
Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will deliver direct patient care in Telemetry, coordinate with physicians, and join an award-winning team devoted to quality, compassion and community.
This full-time role requires a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or ENPC within 30 days, plus at least one year of ER nursing experience. BSN and CEN are preferred.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate within 30 days and maintain current.
- PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year ER staff nurse experience.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
- Direct patient/family teaching and guide other nursing personnel.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; comply with EMTALA.
