Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based care across units in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The role emphasizes professional leadership within the healthcare team and adherence to Service Excellence standards.

The RN will oversee staff under supervision, ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• Experience: One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS. Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
