Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time position offers a 36-hour week with a 11:00am–11:00pm shift and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
