Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department. Positions available include full-time, part-time, and per diem with day and night shifts; schedule is 3 x 12-hour shifts. Pay ranges from $37.00 to $51.28 per hour with a gross pay per 12-hour shift of $444.00–$615.36 before taxes.

Experienced RNs (2+ years) are eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus. CMH offers competitive compensation and benefits, with details discussed during interviews.

Qualificações

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; adhere to EMTALA regulations and abuse reporting requirements.
