Job summary

Qualifications

Basic computer skills – navigate Windows-based programs.
Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
Equipment use to stabilize and monitor patients and EMR systems.
Proficient clinical skills, critical thinking, and strong communication.
Commitment to hourly patient rounding and EKG interpretation class.
Ability to prioritize multiple duties in stressful situations.
General nursing knowledge and pharmacological delivery principles.
Licensed Registered Nurse with BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses.
Supervise nursing personnel and ensure safe, therapeutic care.
Educate patients and families about the care plan, medications, and procedures.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests.
Monitor lab work and report abnormal results for action.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with the healthcare team to stabilize patients.
